In my desperation to survive writing my thesis it appears I overlooked the fact that I was one class short of a minor in applied linguistics. Do I need the minor? I just ran across the phrase "clinical client" while editing my thesis. >_<

I realize the purpose of editing is so that I catch stupid mistakes like that before turning it in, but some of these mistakes make me wonder if I was conscious while writing this thing.

I did, however, manage to work in the word "minutiae" into my paper. \o/

I am so happy that I will drop off the last of my letter of rec forms tomorrow because I have never had something (that should be) so simple bring me to near tears in frustration on three separate occasions.

In other words, I don't think I have made so many stupid, stupid mistakes on anything in my life. >_If I'm catching The Dumb this early in ( Read more... )
